The San Diego International Mobile Film Festival took place the last weekend of April 2019. Filmmakers and participants came from different countries and some regions of San Diego, and the U.S.A. John Woosley, VIP Guest Speaker, came from Kansas City, Missouri to share his film “Alex and the Firefly” shot with iPhone. He taught a hands-on workshop on cinematic filmmaking with iPhones.

CK Goldiing, VIP Guest Speaker, came from Sheffield, England to share his film shot with a Samsung smartphone “61 Hugs” which has gone viral, and along with the film he held a Q&A sharing his techniques to promoting films.

John Woosley was set to come back to San Diego for IMFF 2020 and teach a masterclass and present his newest mobile film “Mason and Jay Save the World,” but due to the Corona Virus COVID-19 situation #MFF2020SanDiego will be held as a Virtual Film Festival online April 25 and 26, 2020.
